- Safe Use of Electrical Equipment: Proper handling, maintenance, and inspection of lab instruments and power sources.
- Grounding and Circuit Protection: Understanding the importance of grounding, circuit breakers, and surge protection.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Selection and use of insulated gloves, safety footwear, and other protective gear.
- Working with High-Voltage Equipment: Precautions for handling and troubleshooting high-voltage lab devices.
- Electrical Fire Prevention & Response: Identifying fire risks, using fire extinguishers safely, and emergency shutdown procedures.
